Truth In Lending Act

As the term itself suggests, this is an act known also as TILA under the Federal Law and was constituted in the year 1968. Regulation Z implements the requirements of this Act. According to the Truth in Lending Act, for the protection of the consumers, credit card issuers are bound to disclose every detail, terms and conditions to the card holder before they apply for the card and even after they have the card at a regular interval.
